Create Recipient Data


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to create recipient data in G5.


Steps:

  1. Click the Recipient Data Maintenance menu item to begin the process of creating recipient data.

  2. Click the Create button to create new recipient data.

  3. Note:  Certain fields are required for individuals to complete and other fields are required for organizations to complete.

  4. Enter the correct information into the UEI field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "JJJ111AAA222".

  5. Click the button to the right of the Recipient Type field to display the recipient types.

  6. Click the Individual list item.

  7. Click in the Recipient Status field to display the list of recipient statuses.

  8. Click the Active list item.

  9. Click in the FAADS Code field to display the list of FAADS codes.

  10. Click the Individuals list item.

  11. Click the Vertical scrollbar and scroll down to the Owner/Individual section of the page.

  12. Enter the correct information into the First Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Samantha".

  13. Enter the correct information into the Last Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Dimon".

  14. Note:  You may check any box in the Indicators region as needed.  These boxes are optional.

  15. Click the Continue > button to move to the Legal Address tab.

  16. Enter the correct information into the Phone field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "202-555-1234".

  17. Enter the correct information into the Address 1 field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "567 Main Street".

  18. Enter the correct information into the City Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Washington".

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "District of Columbia".

  20. Enter the correct information into the Congressional District field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "01".

  21. Click in the State field to display the list of state abbreviations.

  23. Enter the correct information into the Zip Code field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "20202".

  24. Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary tab.

  25. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the Summary information.

  26. Click the Submit button to submit the recipient data to the system.

  27. Note: The system displays a message indicating that the recipient's data has been successfully created.

  28. Click the My HomePage menu item to return to the My Home Page screen.
