In this topic, you will learn how to remove a smart device from your G5 account.
Steps:
To begin, enter your Email ID and Password on the G5 homepage.
Click the Yes, I Accept the Terms checkbox.
Step 2Click the Login to G5 button to log in.
Note: Users who have lost their Smart device can use the Voice Call-back or Text options to retrieve their authentication code and log in to G5.
Step 3Click the Remove Device tab to remove your mobile device from your account.
Step 4The Remove Device feature is designed for those who use the App option to authenticate their G5 login.
When you activate a device to use the App authentication, you must then have access to that device every time you log in to G5 so you can enter the code provided by your authenticator app.
If you either lose or replace that device, you must use the Remove Device feature to remove that device from your account so you can activate another.
Step 5Two of the three secret questions you selected on your G5 profile will appear on the page. You must provide the correct answers for the questions to remove your device.
Click in the text field under the first question to enter the answer.
Step 6After entering the answers for both questions, click the Verify and Remove Device button to complete the process.
Step 7You will then be taken to the App tab so you can activate your new device.
