In this topic, you will learn how to delete an application package.
Steps:
Click the Package Maintenance menu item to begin the process of deleting an application package.
Step 1Enter the correct information into the Fiscal Year field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2010".
Step 2You may complete the other fields as needed for your search. For this example, the CFDA/Subprogram and Schedule Number were also entered.
Step 3Click the Search button to search for packages which meet the search criteria.
Step 4Note: In order to delete an application package, the package must have the status of "Created" or "Unpublished." For this example, the package has the status of "Created."
Step 5Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.
Step 6Click the Select button to mark the Secondary Schools package.
Step 7Click the Delete button to delete the package you have selected.
Step 8Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down through the summary information.
Step 9The system displays a message asking if you are certain you want to delete the package.
Click the Yes option to confirm the deletion.
Step 10Click the Submit button to submit and save the deletion.
Step 11The system displays a message indicating that the package was successfully deleted.
Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.
Step 12Note: If you want to delete additional packages, you may click Done and return to the search screen to repeat the process.
Step 13Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 14Congratulations!
You have successfully deleted an application package.
