In this topic, you will learn how to manage or delete milestones as needed.
Steps:
Click the Performance Monitoring menu to begin the process of managing or deleting milestones.
Step 1Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2010".
Step 2Enter the information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.407W".
Step 3Enter the information into the Schedule No. field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "1".
Step 4Click the button to the right of the Report Type field to display the list of report types.
Step 5Click the Annual Financial list item for this example.
Step 6Click the Search Milestones button to search for milestones which meet the search criteria.
Step 7Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.
Step 8Click the Select button to mark the milestone for Award P407W100001-10.
Step 9Click the Manage Milestones button to move to the milestones tab.
Step 10The Manage Multiple Milestones tab displays.
Click the Select button to mark the milestone which displays.
Step 11Click the Show Calendar button to display the calendar for the Due Date field.
Step 12Note: For this example, the calendar has been set to October 2010. October 30, 2010 falls on a Saturday. Milestones are required to fall on a business day. Therefore, the date will be changed to a business day.
Step 13Click the October 29, 2010 cell.
Step 14Click the Apply to Selected button to apply the new Due Date to the milestone you selected.
Step 15Click the Continue> button to continue to the Summary tab.
Step 16Click the Submit button to submit and save your work.
Step 17The system displays a message indicating that the due dates were updated.
Note: If you would like to manage milestones for additional awards, you may click Done and return to the search screen to repeat the process.
Step 18Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 19Congratulations!
