In this topic, you will how to upload a document to the grant files of multiple awards.
Steps:
Click the Bulk Document Upload link to begin the process of adding a document to multiple awards.
Step 1Enter the desired information in the Fiscal Year field.
In this example, enter "2013".
Step 2Enter the desired information in the CFDA/Subprogram field.
In this example, enter "84.420D".
Step 3Click the Search button to search for the awards.
Step 4Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.
Step 5Mark the awards to which you want to upload the document by clicking the Select checkboxes next to the desired award numbers.
Step 6In this example, the search retrieved 40 awards. By default, 10 awards will be displayed at a time. You can use the Show Entries dropdown box to display additional awards on the current page.
Step 7The Filter results field allows you to enter specific criteria to filter the search results.
Step 8In this example, click the Check All on Current Page button to select the awards on this page.
Step 9Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down the page.
Step 10Enter the desired information into the Title field.
In this example, enter "Training Document".
Step 11Click the Section field to select the section of the Grant File to which this document will be uploaded.
Step 12Select the desired section from the dropdown list.
In this example, select Section 5: Pre-Award.
Step 13Click in the Subsection field to select a subsection if necessary.
This field provides a specific classification within the section.
Step 14Select the desired subsection from the dropdown list.
In this example, select Application Package.
Step 15Click in the Grant File Subject field to select the subject of the document.
Step 16Select the desired Grant File Subject from the dropdown list.
In this example, select Personnel.
Step 17Click the Upload button begin the process of uploading the document.
Step 18Click the Choose file button to search for the document to upload.
Step 19Locate the file on your computer then click on the title to select it.
In this example, select the Training Document list item.
Step 20Click the Open button to pull the file you selected into the Upload Files field.
Step 21Note: The file name will appear in the Upload Files field.
Step 22Click the Upload button to upload the selected file to G5.
Step 23Note: Once the document is successfully uploaded, you will be able to view the document by clicking on the file name.
Step 24Click the Save Document button to add the document to the Grant File.
Step 25A message will appear to confirm that the document has been saved successfully.
Step 26Click the My HomePage link to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 27Congratulations!
