Bulk Document Upload


Concept

In this topic, you will how to upload a document to the grant files of multiple awards.


Steps:

  1. Click the Bulk Document Upload link to begin the process of adding a document to multiple awards.

  2. Enter the desired information in the Fiscal Year field.

     

    In this example, enter "2013".

  3. Enter the desired information in the CFDA/Subprogram field.

     

    In this example, enter "84.420D".

  4. Click the Search button to search for the awards.

  5. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.

  6. Mark the awards to which you want to upload the document by clicking the Select checkboxes next to the desired award numbers.

  7. In this example, the search retrieved 40 awards.  By default, 10 awards will be displayed at a time.  You can use the Show Entries dropdown box to display additional awards on the current page.

  8. The Filter results field allows you to enter specific criteria to filter the search results.

  9. In this example, click the Check All on Current Page button to select the awards on this page.

  10. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down the page.

  11. Enter the desired information into the Title field.

     

    In this example, enter "Training Document".

  12. Click the Section field to select the section of the Grant File to which this document will be uploaded.

  13. Select the desired section from the dropdown list.

     

    In this example, select Section 5: Pre-Award.

  14. Click in the Subsection field to select a subsection if necessary.

     

    This field provides a specific classification within the section.

  15. Select the desired subsection from the dropdown list.

     

    In this example, select Application Package.

  16. Click in the Grant File Subject field to select the subject of the document.

  17. Select the desired Grant File Subject from the dropdown list.

     

    In this example, select Personnel.

  18. Click the Upload button begin the process of uploading the document.

  19. Click the Choose file button to search for the document to upload.

  20. Locate the file on your computer then click on the title to select it.

     

    In this example, select the Training Document list item.

  21. Click the Open button to pull the file you selected into the Upload Files field.

  22. Note: The file name will appear in the Upload Files field.

  23. Click the Upload button to upload the selected file to G5.

  24. Note: Once the document is successfully uploaded, you will be able to view the document by clicking on the file name.

  25. Click the Save Document button to add the document to the Grant File.

  26. A message will appear to confirm that the document has been saved successfully.

  27. Click the My HomePage link to return to the My Home Page screen.
