Purpose: This procedure demonstrates how a user creates a performance report packages for Discretionary (Individual and Organizational) and Formula awards. Users are able to create and rollover application packages if a valid schedule exists.

G5 Role: g5ProgramOffice

Navigation Path: Grant Setup > Application Packages > Package Maintenance

Prerequisite: The prerequisite for this topic is:

1. A schedule exists in G5

For Your Information: When creating a performance report package, it is important to ensure the Fiscal Year and Schedule Number on the report package matches the Fiscal Year and the Schedule Number under which the award was obligated.  If this information does not match, then the performance report will not be visible for the project director. The program office will need to go to "Performance Monitoring" and create the report package against the proper grant schedule and publish it so that it is available to their project director. (Example: award S123A110001 was obligated in FY 11 under 2011 84.123A Schedule 1. The award was then rolled over and obligated against 2012 84.123A Schedule 2.  If the Program Office is building a performance report package in FY 13 to collect performance data for the previous budget period (FY12), the report package must be created under 2012 84.123A Schedule 2.)
