Add State or Other Contacts for a Formula Record


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to add a state or other contact for a formula record.


Steps:

  1. Click the Formula Record menu item to begin the process of adding a state or other contact.

    Step 1
  2. Enter the search information into the Fiscal Year field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".

  3. Enter the search information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.003J".

  4. Click the Search button to search for formula PR/Award Numbers which meet the criteria.

  5. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the search results.

  6. Click the Select button to mark Schedule No. 3 and PR/Award No. Z003J090005.

  7. Click the Modify button to move to the Details tab.

  8. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the details for the record.

  9. Click the Modify Formula Contacts button to add a state or other contact.

  10. Click the button to the right of the Contact Type field to display the list of contact types.

  11. Select the State Authorizing Official list item.

  12. Enter the information into the First Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Mary".

  13. Enter the information into the Last Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Lamb".

  14. Enter the information into the Phone Number field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "201-555-5555".

  15. Click the Horizontal button of the scrollbar to scroll to the right and see the additional fields.

  16. Enter the contact's email address into the Email field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "mary.lamb@nj.org".

  17. Click the Horizontal scrollbar to scroll back to the left to view the buttons.

  18. Click the Add button to add a second state contact.

  19. Click the button to the right of the Contact Type field for the next line to display the list contact types.

  21. Enter the information into the First Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Andy".

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Walker".

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "201-555-7777".

  24. Click the Horizontal scrollbar to scroll to the right to see the additional fields.

  25. Enter the contact's email address into the Email field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "andy.walker@nj.org".

  26. Click the Horizontal scrollbar to scroll back to the left and view the buttons on the screen.

  27. Click the Continue > button to move to the Details tab.

  29. Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary tab.

  31. Click the Submit button to submit the data you have entered to the system.

  32. The system displays a message indicating that the formula record was updated successfully.

  33. NoteIf you want to enter additional state contacts, you can click the Done button and return to the search screen.
