Initiate an Admin Action Request as a Grantee


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to request an Administrative (Admin) Action.


Steps:

  1. Click the Initiate Actions menu item under Grant Maintenance to begin the process of requesting an administrative (admin) action.

  2. Click the Select button to mark Award P031A170000.

  3. Click the Continue > button to move to the Admin Action Request page.

  4. Note:  You may select any of the available types to create.  This example will focus on an Address admin action.

  5. Use the Select radio button to select in the Action Type you want to create.

     

    In this example, click the Select button to select Address Change.

  6. Click the Create button to create a new request.

  7. The system displays the appropriate tab based on the action type you selected.

  8. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down past the current information to the New Address section.

  9. Enter the correct information into the Applicant Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Community College".

  10. Enter the correct information into the Street Address field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "123 Main St".

  11. Enter the correct information into the City field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Westminster".

  12. Click the button to the right of the State field to display the list of state codes.

  13. Select the CO list item.

  14. Enter the correct information into the Zip field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "80031".

  15. Note:  If you wish, you may save the information by clicking the Save button.  When you save the request, it has not been submitted and will stay in "Draft" status.

     

    Also Note:  When it is in "Draft" status, the request may be modified or deleted.

  16. Note:  To open a request in Draft status, navigate to the Admin Action Request page, click the Select radio button to select the request, and click the Continue button.

  17. Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary tab.

  18. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information you have entered.

  19. Click the Submit button to submit the request to the system.

  20. The system displays a message indicating that the action has been successfully submitted.

     

    Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  21. Note:  The system sends an email to the Department's Program Officer for the award.

     

    Also Note:  If you would like to create additional requests, you may click Done and return to the search screen to repeat the process.

  22. Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
