In this topic, you will learn how to modify a clause.
Steps:
Click the Clauses Maintenance menu item to begin the process of modifying a clause.
Step 1Enter the correct information into the Award Clause Title field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Training II".
Step 2Click the Search button to search for the award clause you entered.
Step 3Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.
Step 4Click the Select button to mark the Training II award clause.
Step 5Click the Modify Clause button to modify the clause.
Step 6For this example, a sentence will be added to the Clause Text.
Step 7Enter the desired information into the Clause Text field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Fax to 202-555-6666.".
Step 8Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.
Step 9Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary tab.
Step 10Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the Summary information.
Step 11Click the Submit button to submit the changes to the system.
Step 12Click the Click here to view/print the list of these awards link to view the awards which will be affected by the changes.
Step 13Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the list of affected awards.
Step 14Click the < Previous button to return to the screen with the caution message.
Step 15Click the Yes button to confirm the submittal of the changes.
Step 16The system displays a message indicating that the clause has been successfully modified.
Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.
Step 17Note: If you want to modify additional clauses, click the Done button and return to the search screen to repeat the process.
Step 18Click the Go to Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 19Congratulations!
You have successfully modified a clause.
