In this topic, you will learn how to delete an application in G5.
Steps:
Click the Application Log menu to begin the process of deleting an application.
Step 1Note: You must first search the system for the application you want to delete.
Step 2Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".
Step 3Enter the information into the ADC/CFDA/Subprogram field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.003J".
Step 4Enter the information into the PR/Award No. field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "Z003J090002".
Step 5Click the Search button to search for the application.
Step 6Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and view the search results.
Step 7Click the Select button to mark the application for Award Z003J090002.
Step 8Click the Delete button to delete the application.
Step 9Enter the explanation for the deletion into the Comments field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "may be duplicate".
Step 10Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary screen.
Step 11After reviewing the information, click the Submit button to submit the deletion to the system.
Step 12Note: If you want to delete additional applications, you can click the Done button and return to the search screen to repeat the process.
Step 13Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 14Congratulations!
You have successfully deleted an application.
