Modify the Status of an Award


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to modify  the status of an award. Before you start , please make sure you have the required roles in G5

Steps:

  1. Please note that if you do not have the G5AwardStatusManagementStaff role on your account you will not be able to modify the status on an award. You will need to either add the role to your account or have someone in your program office with the G5AwardStatusManagementStaff modify the award.

  2. Click the Status Maintenance menu item to begin the process of modifying the status of an award.

  3. Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".

  4. Enter the information into the PR/Award No. field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "P938R099913".

  5. Click the Search button to search for the award you entered.

  6. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down to the search results.

  7. Click the Select button to mark the award information which displays.

  8. Click the Modify Status button to move to the Award Information tab to modify the status of the award.

  9. Click the button to the right of the Award Status field to display the list of available award statuses.

  10. Note:  This example focuses on changing the award status from Suspension to Liquidation.

  11. Select the Liquidation list item.

  12. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  13. Click the Continue > button to continue to the Award Balances tab.

  14. Note:  If there was a reason that you could not change the status to Liquidation, then the system would give you an error message after you clicked Continue.

  15. Click the Summary tab to move to the summary screen.

  16. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  17. Click the Submit button to submit and save your changes.

  18. The system displays a message indicating that the changes were successfully saved.

     

    Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  19. Note:  If you would like to modify the status of additional awards, you may click Done and return to the search screen to repeat the process.

  20. Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
