Upload Formula Allotment Data


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to upload formula allotment data in G5.


Steps:

  1. Click the Formula Allotment menu item to begin the process of uploading formula allotments.

    Step 1
  2. Enter the search information into the Fiscal Year field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".

  3. Enter the search information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.003J".

  4. Click the Search button to search for schedules/competitions which match the criteria.

  5. Click the Select button to mark Schedule/Competition Number 4.

  6. Click the Modify button to move to the Edit Formula Allotments and Allocations screen.

  7. Click the Browse... button in the Edit Multiple Records box to search for the file to upload.

  8. Select the UploadAllotmentData_TRNG list item.

  9. Click the Open button to pull the file name into the Edit Multiple Records field.

  10. Click the Upload Records button to load the allotment data from the file into the formula record(s).

  11. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  12. NoteThe Allotment Amount, Allocation Amount and Student Count populates for each Award record.  The system automatically calculates the Per Student Cost.

  13. Click the Continue > button to move to the Abstract Details screen.

  14. Click the button to the right of the Ed Program Contact Name field to display the list of Ed program contacts.

  15. Select the Washington, Ed list item.

  16. Click the button to the right of the Population Served field to display the list of population choices.

  18. Select the Veterinary Medicine list item.

  19. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  20. Click the Continue > button to move to the Formula Records Summary screen.

  22. Click the Submit button to submit the allotments to the system.

  23. The system displays a message indicating that the information was successfully uploaded.

     

    Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  24. NoteIf you want to upload additional allotments, you can click the Done button and return to the search screen to repeat the process.

  25. Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
