Assign Performance Periods for Multiple Formula Award


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to assign Federal performance periods to formula records in G5.


Steps:

  1. Click the Performance Periods and ED Contacts menu item to begin the process of assigning Federal performance periods.

    Step 1
  2. Enter the search information into the Fiscal Year field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".

  3. Enter the search information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.003J".

  4. Click the Search button to search for schedules/competitions which meet the criteria.

  5. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  6. Click the Select option to mark Schedule/Competition Number 2.

  7. Click the Assign Performance Periods button to assign performance periods.

  8. Note:  You may type the last four digits of the first and last application in the Applications Parameters fields or you my check the Select box for each.

     

    For this example, there are only two applications, so the check boxes will be selected.

  9. Click the Select option to mark the first Award Application.

  10. Click the Select option to mark the next Award Application.

  12. NoteThe Maximum Months in Performance Period defaults from the schedule information.

  13. Click the Show Calendar button to display the calendar for the Begin Date field.

  14. Select the July 1, 2009 cell.

  15. Click the Show Calendar button to display the calendar for the End Date field.

  16. Select the September 30, 2013 cell.

  17. Click the Calculate button to calculate the performance period months and end date.

  18. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down.

  19. Note:  The system calculates and populates the Actual Months in Performance Period and Maximum Performance Period End Date.

  20. Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary screen.

  22. Click the Continue > button to confirm the data you have entered.

  23. The system displays a message indicating that the performance periods were assigned successfully.

  24. NoteIf you want to assign performance periods for additional schedules, you may click the Done button and return to the search screen to repeat the process.

  25. Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
