Create a Grant Team


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to create a grant team in G5.


Steps:

  1. Click the Grant Team function to create a new grant team.

  2. Before you enter a new grant team, you should search for the grant team to ensure that it does not already exist in the system.

  3. Click in the Grant Team Name field to enter the grant team name for the query.

  4. Enter the desired information into the field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "KAOS".

  5. Click the Search button to execute the search.

  6. The system displays a message indicating that the grant team does not currently exist.

     

    Click the Create button to start entering the new grant team.

  7. Enter the desired information into the Grant Team Name field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "KAOS Grant Team".

  8. Click the button to the right of the Program Office field to display the list of program offices.

  9. For this example, select the OCFO list item.

  10. Click the Add Team Members button to enter the first team member.

  11. Click the button to the right of the Program Office field to display the list of program offices.

  12. For this example, select OCFO from the list.

  13. Click the Search button to execute the query.

  14. The list of OCFO employees displays.

     

    Click the Vertical button of the scrollbar to scroll down and review the list.

  15. NoteWhenever a column title appears as a link (in blue), you can click that link to sort the data by the data in that column.

     

    For example, if you want to sort the data by Name, click the word Name and the system will sort the data.

  16. Click the Select option next to Ed Jefferson's name.

  17. Click the Add Team Member button to add Ed Jefferson to the team.

  18. Click the Vertical button of the scrollbar to scroll down and review the other names on the OCFO list.

  19. Click the Select button next to Ed Washington's name to add him to the team.

  20. Click the Add Team Member button to add Ed Washington to the team.

  22. Click the Done Adding Team Members button to complete the addition of team members.

  23. Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary screen.

  24. After reviewing the entries, click the Submit Grant Team button to move to the Confirmation screen.

  25. The system displays a message indicating that the grant team has been created.

     

    Click the Done button to acknowledge the system note.

  26. Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
