In this topic, you will learn how to create a grant team in G5.
Steps:
Click the Grant Team function to create a new grant team.
Step 1Before you enter a new grant team, you should search for the grant team to ensure that it does not already exist in the system.
Step 2Click in the Grant Team Name field to enter the grant team name for the query.
Step 3Enter the desired information into the field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "KAOS".
Step 4Click the Search button to execute the search.
Step 5The system displays a message indicating that the grant team does not currently exist.
Click the Create button to start entering the new grant team.
Step 6Enter the desired information into the Grant Team Name field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "KAOS Grant Team".
Step 7Click the button to the right of the Program Office field to display the list of program offices.
Step 8For this example, select the OCFO list item.
Step 9Click the Add Team Members button to enter the first team member.
Step 10Click the button to the right of the Program Office field to display the list of program offices.
Step 11For this example, select OCFO from the list.
Step 12Click the Search button to execute the query.
Step 13The list of OCFO employees displays.
Click the Vertical button of the scrollbar to scroll down and review the list.
Step 14Note: Whenever a column title appears as a link (in blue), you can click that link to sort the data by the data in that column.
For example, if you want to sort the data by Name, click the word Name and the system will sort the data.
Step 15Click the Select option next to Ed Jefferson's name.
Step 16Click the Add Team Member button to add Ed Jefferson to the team.
Step 17Click the Vertical button of the scrollbar to scroll down and review the other names on the OCFO list.
Step 18Click the Select button next to Ed Washington's name to add him to the team.
Step 19Click the Add Team Member button to add Ed Washington to the team.
Step 20Click the Vertical button of the scrollbar to scroll down.
Step 21Click the Done Adding Team Members button to complete the addition of team members.
Step 22Click the Continue > button to move to the Summary screen.
Step 23After reviewing the entries, click the Submit Grant Team button to move to the Confirmation screen.
Step 24The system displays a message indicating that the grant team has been created.
Click the Done button to acknowledge the system note.
Step 25Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 26Congratulations!
You have successfully created a grant team.
