In this topic, you will learn how to resolve an award's compliance issue.
Steps:
Click the Approval menu item to begin the process of resolving a non-compliant award.
Step 1Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2009".
Step 2Enter the information into the PR/Award No. field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "P938R099946".
Step 3Click the Search button to search for the award you entered.
Step 4Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down to the search results.
Step 5Click the Select option to mark the award information.
Step 6Click the Resolve button to move to the Resolve Milestones tab.
Step 7Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the milestones information.
Step 8Click the button to the right of the Resolution field to display the list of available resolutions.
Step 9Select the Hard Copy Submitted list item.
Step 10Click the Show Calendar button for the Receipt Date field to enter a date.
Step 11For this example, the calendar has been set to April 2010.
Step 12Click the April 1, 2010 cell.
Step 13Note: You must also select a progress box to indicate what progress has been made toward the milestone. If you do not select a box the award will remain in non-compliance.
Step 14Click the Substantial Progress Met? option.
Step 15Click the Continue > button to continue to the Summary tab.
Step 16Click the Submit button to submit and save your work.
Step 17The system displays a message stating that the milestones have been resolved and the award is now in compliance.
Note: The In Compliance status has changed to Yes.
Also Note: If you would like to resolve the compliance for additional awards, you may click Done and return to the search screen to repeat the process.
Step 18Click the Go To Home button to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 19Congratulations!
You have successfully resolved the award's compliance issue.
