In this topic, you will learn how to prepare a Non-Competing Continuation (NCC) award.
Steps:
Click the Prepare menu item to begin the process of preparing the continuation award.
Step 1Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2022".
Step 2Enter the correct information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.
For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.008A".
Step 3Click in the Award Type field to display the list of award types.
Step 4Select the Discretionary list item for this example.
Step 5Click in the Action Type field to display the list of action types.
Step 6Click the Non-Competing Continuation list item.
Step 7Click the Search button to search for the award.
Step 8Click the Select radio button to select the award you want to prepare.
Step 9Click the Prepare Award button to prepare the award.
Step 10Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Applicant tab.
Step 11Click the Continue > button to continue to the Budget tab.
Step 12Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Budget tab.
Step 13Click the Continue > button to continue to the Budget tab.
Step 14Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Details tab.
Step 15Click the Continue > button to continue to the Contacts tab.
Step 16After confirming the contacts are correct, click the Continue > button to continue to the Clauses tab.
Step 17Note: You can add optional clauses or add a unique clause in the Selected Award Clauses section.
Step 18After confirming the appropriate clauses have been added, click the Continue > button to continue to the Attachments tab.
Step 19Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Attachments tab.
Step 20Note: You can add optional attachments in the Optional Award Attachments section.
Step 21After confirming the appropriate attachments have been added, click the Continue > button to continue to the Attachments tab.
Step 22Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down the Status tab.
Step 23Click the Continue > button to continue to the Summary tab.
Step 24Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information.
Step 25Click the Submit button to submit and save your work.
Step 26The system displays a message indicating that the changes have been saved.
You can now use the Generate Grant Award Notification (GAN) button to generate and print the GAN.
Step 27Hover over the Main menu and click the My HomePage menu item to return to the My Home Page screen.
Step 28Congratulations!
