Prepare an NCC Award


Concept

In this topic, you will learn how to prepare a Non-Competing Continuation (NCC) award.


Steps:

  1. Click the Prepare menu item to begin the process of preparing the continuation award.

  2. Enter the information into the Fiscal Year field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "2022".

  3. Enter the correct information into the CFDA/Subprogram field.

     

    For this example, enter a valid value e.g. "84.008A".

  4. Click in the Award Type field to display the list of award types.

  5. Select the Discretionary list item for this example.

  6. Click in the Action Type field to display the list of action types.

  7. Click the Non-Competing Continuation list item.

  8. Click the Search button to search for the award.

  9. Click the Select radio button to select the award you want to prepare.

  10. Click the Prepare Award button to prepare the award.

  11. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Applicant tab.

  12. Click the Continue > button to continue to the Budget tab.

  13. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Budget tab.

  14. Click the Continue > button to continue to the Budget tab.

  15. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Details tab.

  16. Click the Continue > button to continue to the Contacts tab.

  17. After confirming the contacts are correct, click the Continue > button to continue to the Clauses tab.

  18. Note:  You can add optional clauses or add a unique clause in the Selected Award Clauses section.

  19. After confirming the appropriate clauses have been added, click the Continue > button to continue to the Attachments tab.

  20. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information on the Attachments tab.

  21. Note:  You can add optional attachments in the Optional Award Attachments section.

  22. After confirming the appropriate attachments have been added, click the Continue > button to continue to the Attachments tab.

  23. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down the Status tab.

  24. Click the Continue > button to continue to the Summary tab.

  25. Click the Vertical scrollbar to scroll down and review the information.

  26. Click the Submit button to submit and save your work.

  27. The system displays a message indicating that the changes have been saved.

     

    You can now use the Generate Grant Award Notification (GAN) button to generate and print the GAN.

  28. Hover over the Main menu and click the My HomePage menu item to return to the My Home Page screen.
