Purpose: This procedure demonstrates how to request a new G5 Password. This is different from changing your password in that it is performed when a password is forgotten. To complete this, a user may reset his or her password online by knowing the security question and answer as well as the email account which is associated with his or her G5 User ID.
Note: Users can log in to G5 using Login.gov or a G5 Email ID and password. The instructions in this topic are only applicable to changing your G5 password, not the Login.gov password.
